Founded in 2010 as an UMSU-affiliated club, Women* in Science and Engineering (WiSE) at the University of Melbourne has been a driving force in fostering a supportive and empowering community for women and non-binary individuals in STEMM.

Over the years, WiSE has expanded its reach, hosting a diverse range of events—from upskilling workshops and industry site visits to lively trivia nights, insightful panel discussions, and our signature Coffee and Cake gatherings. Our flagship Networking Night has become a cornerstone event, bridging the gap between students and professionals while fostering invaluable career connections.​
